About the Species
This specimen was collected from the Kaka Plateau, Arsi, Ethiopia. It was made available to The University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility by Mr. Graham Slater and Dr. Blair Van Valkenburgh of The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of California, Los Angelas. Funding for scanning was provided by Dr. Blair Van Valkenburgh. Funding for image processing was provided by a National Science Foundation Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Timothy Rowe of The University of Texas at Austin.
About this Specimen
This specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert on 23 March 2007 along the horizontal axis for a total of 297 slices. Each 1024 x 1024 pixel slice is 0.25 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.25 mm and a field of reconstruction of 214 mm.
