About the Species
This specimen, a female, was collected from the north slopes of Mt. Dayman, Maneau Range, Papua New Guinea. It was made available to the University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning by Dr. Ted Macrini of St Mary's University. Funding for scanning was provided by Dr. Nancy Simmons of the American Museum of Natural History. Funding for image processing was provided by The Jackson School of Geosciences.
About this Specimen
The specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert on 14 April 2007 along the coronal axis for a total of 720 slices. Each 1024x1024 pixel slice is 0.121 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.121 mm and a field of reconstruction of 55 mm.
